Available now through June 30th!
Growing up in So Cal, there was always avocado on the menu. If it was Mexican food, we had slices on our burritos and Guacamole for our chips. Sandwiches almost always had options to add avocado, salads included them or I'd even just eating one with a spoon! Heck, I used to love avocado slices on pizza after the pizza was cooked! They were a part of my daily life growing up, and I never gave it much thought until I moved away. I never realized how lucky I was to grow up with a Grandpa who had an avocado tree, or local farmers selling theirs for 50 cents each on the side of the road. It was almost hard not to find a ripe one when needed. Here in Oregon, things are a little different. Sure, we can get guacamole at Mexican restaurants, but not every time! The market never has ripe ones. They are better off being used as baseballs, rather than eating them. I do miss my creamy light yellow green love!
That’s why I picked Avocado as the June 2021 colorway. This awesome yarn is kettle dyed with several beautiful yellows and a pinch of green to give it a rich bright yellow green color. It would be perfect for any fingering, dk or worsted weight project.
Each skein of Avocado is unique.
Please allow up to 1-2 weeks for shipping, as the monthly colorways are dye to order.
